The swastika of old
Has fallen from its path
And now is a symbol
Of destruction and wrath

A symbol of hope
Luck and joy
Became an evil
Nazi toy

Bringing terror and pain
Wherever they went
Till all the goodness
And hope was spent

Now when we see it
It brings no more joy
All we see now
In an old Nazi ploy
