Winter Town
The sun beats down
On cold glass panes
Icicles line the frame
A golden crown
Over icy lanes
Yet still is stays the same
A frozen world
Seeming stopped in time
A quiet world
White sublime
And through it all
Life goes on
In silent nights
Dusk till dawn
And when the sun starts to rise
Through the chill
The snowy silence stays
Little warmth or comfort it buys
The land remains still
In sleepy white ways
On cold glass panes
Icicles line the frame
A golden crown
Over icy lanes
Yet still is stays the same
A frozen world
Seeming stopped in time
A quiet world
White sublime
And through it all
Life goes on
In silent nights
Dusk till dawn
And when the sun starts to rise
Through the chill
The snowy silence stays
Little warmth or comfort it buys
The land remains still
In sleepy white ways
