The stems of a rose
A bramble misery
Where ever it grows

It buds and blooms
Giving hope
To countless rooms

From misery’s thorns
Comes hope and light
Blossoms of love
To make things right

From the darkest day
And the deepest night
The rose reminds us
To hope and delight
