Three

Three is a number
That’s truly divine
The trinity of God
Is most surely a sign

First is the Father
With justice and might
Who watches and guards over us
By day and by night

Second is the Son
Who came from above
And gave us salvation
With mercy, grace and love

Third is the Holy Spirit
Who lives deep inside
And tells us what to do
And acts as our guide

Yet not individuals
The form a trinity
A single god with three parts
A mystery for all to see
