Grimacing gargoyles
Up in the loft
Always so stony
Never so soft

With hearts of stone
And eyes that peer
Looking for all that’s wrong

A dismal tone
They shed not a tear
Trying to look very strong

Are you a gargoyle
Is there stone in your heart
Can you see love
Or are you too smart

Life’s not worth living
If you live it alone
Try to find something more

A life of giving
Not a heart of stone
And you’ll feel much better than before
