Soft and lonely she sits by her phone
Desperately waiting for someone to call
She sits through the night waiting to see
If her someone has missed her at all

The time that they spent together
The love they tried to share
She wonders if he’ll call her
She wonders if he’ll care

If in time she’s blown away
By a very nasty storm
If she hungry if she’s dead
Or even if she’s warm

Sadly and scared, she makes her way home
Who only knows what she’ll find
Will he be there, will he still care
Or will she be left behind
