Love Through Better And Worse

They walked the streets
Hand in hand
Tattered clothes they wore

And they talked
Of better times
A time long before

When they lived in a house
With children and joy
Who loved them so
Their girl and their boy

Those times are now past
But not their love
It seems them through good times and bad

And while some things don’t last
The still have their love
And are happy not sad
