The Dreaming Daisy

The lazy crazy daisy
Sat sitting in the sun
Looking at the clear blue sky
And dreaming just for fun

Feeling how her petals felt
And feeling roots so deep
She stood there being quiet
You couldn’t hear a peep

When the sun went down and the moon came up
She dreamed a little more
This lazy crazy daisy
Was a silly dreaming bore
