Love’s Great Victory

Freedom looked
Upon her cell
Shackled from the wall

An old man cooked
His Smokey hell
Then gave the guards a call

They served to the inmates
Freedom, Justice, Peace
Just enough to let them starve
Given piece by piece

Then love broke in
And smote them down
To save the prisoners three

With love’s grand win
Gave each a crown
And set the prisoners free
