Love Birds

Blue is the sky we fly through
Green are the leaves near our home
Red is the color our hearts beat
When together we fly and roam

Birds of a feather flock together
Or so the sages say
But paired we are near or far
With you my heart will stay

Flying through life
We bird who are paired
Loving together
Loneliness is spared

Though life is not perfect
We still share our fate
And live life together
Till out lives get late

And when we are old
And can barely give wing
We will sit on our perch
And of our love we will sing
