The Faddlefish Ball
The day blew hot
On that windswept plain
Where faddlefish bounced
Each carrying a cane
And tall top-hats
They wore on their heads
Tightly tied on
Like Berlupian feds
And off they hopped
In that windswept place
Over sand dune and rock
To a palace of lace
And in they hopped
To gardens of green
Where rainbows played
A sight quite serene
Then the faddlefish bounced
To fine gibbles in gowns
And began to dance
To peculiar sounds
Thogs play the pots
Where sunbeams danced
And sholes played on flutes
That were magically enhanced
And weemels tooted horns
That looked quite absurd
And forlocks strummed their legs
Which rarely occurred.
And all was so fine
On that magical night
That filled the whole land
With their musical delight
And fresh gardens sprung
Where never one was
Lights danced and girls prance
From Sor to Balguz
So happy and magical
Did everything seem
That people oft wondered
If it was only a dream
On that windswept plain
Where faddlefish bounced
Each carrying a cane
And tall top-hats
They wore on their heads
Tightly tied on
Like Berlupian feds
And off they hopped
In that windswept place
Over sand dune and rock
To a palace of lace
And in they hopped
To gardens of green
Where rainbows played
A sight quite serene
Then the faddlefish bounced
To fine gibbles in gowns
And began to dance
To peculiar sounds

Where sunbeams danced
And sholes played on flutes
