Gingerbread Houses

Gram cracker walls
And candied panes
Chocolate chimneys
And weather vanes

A heavy layer
Of white frosting snow
Covers the place
Marshmallow snowmen go

Amongst ice-cream cone trees
On gumdrop lanes
By lemon drop shrubs
And candy canes

The Keebler elves
As a choir sings
Of a child born in Bethlehem
And the salvation he brings
