Sleepless silence
On a quiet night
Tearful moments
You try to fight

But stuck in a moment
For a day or a year
Stuck in your life
That is so filled with fear

No longer love
Compassion or joy
All that is left
Are things that destroy

Leaving you crazed
With depression and grief
Constantly searching
For some kind of relief

But as far as you search

But married old men
