The Rhyme of the White Collar Camper
I wish I could live
In a cloth covered box
And live in a world
That’s run by old clocks
Appointments to set
And deadlines to meet
I’d never go out
And life would be sweet
They could treat me like trash
And I wouldn’t care
I’d drink lots of coffee
And sit in my square
And write lots of e-mail
Reports and code too
Oh this dream that I have
Is long overdue
And happy I’d be
My life they would pamper
With post-its and pens
I’m a white color camper
In a cloth covered box
And live in a world
That’s run by old clocks
Appointments to set
And deadlines to meet
I’d never go out
And life would be sweet
They could treat me like trash
And I wouldn’t care
I’d drink lots of coffee
And sit in my square
And write lots of e-mail
Reports and code too
Oh this dream that I have
Is long overdue
And happy I’d be
My life they would pamper
With post-its and pens
I’m a white color camper
