Depression

Sadness suffers slowly
From mighty to the lowly
Depression darkens daylight
And makes ones strength to give flight

For those who suffer deeply
They cannot do so cheaply
For things that touch some lightly
Will grasp their heart so lightly

That they can barely gasp for breath
